Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Air Conditioning Installer to join our professional team. Responsibilities
- Install air conditioning units in accordance with manufacturer specifications and schematics
- Conduct system testing to ensure proper operation post-installation
- Perform maintenance tasks on existing systems, including cleaning and component replacement
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment efficiently to minimise downtime
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints accurately
- Assist with the setup of related HVAC systems during new installations or upgrades
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety standards at all times
- Collaborate with team members and provide leadership when necessary during complex installations or repairs
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and maintenance
- F Gas qualification
- Ability to read and understand technical schematics and blueprints effectively
- Construction experience is advantageous, particularly in building or renovation projects involving HVAC systems
- Knowledge of air conditioning systems, including installation, servicing, and troubleshooting
- Leadership qualities with the ability to guide junior team members when required
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently while adhering to deadlines
