Job Description
B&B Skip Hire, part of Radical Waste Group, is looking for a professional and reliable HGV Class 2 Skip Lorry Driver to join our growing transport team.
The role involves delivering and collecting skips for both domestic and commercial customers across the local area while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect skips from domestic and commercial customers
- Operate a skip lorry safely using hook or chain lift systems
- Ensure skips are positioned safely on customer sites
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report defects
- Follow daily transport schedules and job allocations
- Maintain a professional approach with customers
- Comply with driver hours and tachograph regulations
Requirements
Essential
- HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph card
- Reliable and professional attitude
- Good understanding of road safety and vehicle operation
Desirable
- Previous skip lorry or hook lift experience
- Experience in waste, construction or transport sectors
- Good local area knowledge
Full training will be provided where required.
