Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble mechanical parts using hand tools, welding techniques, and tooling to meet project specifications.
- Handle materials safely within manufacturing settings, ensuring proper storage, movement, and inventory control.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operation and safety standards are maintained.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks, materials handling, and quality checks to meet project deadlines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fabrication, welding, milling, or similar manufacturing processes.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with materials handling procedures within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively for assembly and fabrication tasks.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Prior manufacturing / engineering experience is preferred.
