Job Overview
We're looking for reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking Chocolate Production Operatives to join our day-shift manufacturing team on a 4-month zero-hours fixed-term contract, with the possibility of an extension.
This role offers flexibility, with work available according to production requirements. When shifts are offered, they will typically be Monday to Thursday, 6:00am to 4:00pm.
You will play an important role in producing our luxury handmade chocolates, ensuring every product meets the exceptional quality standards our customers expect. Previous food manufacturing experience is helpful but not essential as full training will be provided.
What you will be doing
- Operating chocolate production machinery safely and efficiently following full training.
- Working on production lines to meet daily output and quality targets.
- Producing and packing premium chocolate products to the highest quality standards.
- Carrying out quality checks and reporting any defects or issues.
- Following food safety, hygiene and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment using "clean as you go" principles.
- Supporting routine cleaning of equipment and production areas.
- Reporting any equipment faults, safety concerns or production issues to your Team Leader.
- Working closely with colleagues to keep production running smoothly.

Working Hours 06:00 - 16:00 . This role is offered on a zero-hours, fixed-term contract to support our seasonal production requirements. Shifts will be offered in line with business demand, and there is no obligation for the Company to offer work or for you to accept any shifts.
