Safari Stars Nursery has a new, exciting, job opportunity and we are looking to welcome on board a passionate and enthusiastic candidate to join our nursery team. The candidate will work 8am to 6pm Monday to Thursday (36 hours a week in total).
Below outlines exactly what we are looking for;
✨MUST have, a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education/Childcare (or equivalent), must be recognised by the DFE.
✨MUST have experience working with children under two years old in a nursery setting.
✨ Creative person, with strong knowledge of the EYFS and child development (You will be required to take on the role of a key person.)
✨ Ability to plan exciting learning opportunities and scaffold children’s learning in the moment
✨ Excellent communication and teamwork skills
✨ A warm, positive attitude and a commitment to safeguarding
✨ Clear DBS check – Must be on the update service (This can be done prior to start date if you don’t already have this)
Further Training Requirements (We welcome applicants who are willing to undertake this training with our support if you don’t already hold these qualifications)
✔ Full Paediatric First Aid Training.
✔Level 2 Safeguarding Children
✔ Level 2 Food Hygiene
✔Prevent Duty
Must be available to work: 36 hours per week, Monday to Thursday Between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm.
