We're looking for an organised, confident Assistant Manager who's ready to take on more responsibility and grow into a leadership role at our clinic in the heart of Kensington London . This is a hands-on, full-time position, Monday to Friday, for someone who wants to be the go-to person for the team — the first point of contact for staff, keeping the day-to-day running smoothly, and taking real ownership of compliance and operations.
If you've got CQC experience, enjoy taking charge, worked in surgical general anaesthetic facilities and want a role where you can genuinely step up rather than just tick boxes — this is for you.
Key Responsibilities
First point of contact for all staff members
Manage staff rota and scheduling
Take charge of CQC compliance — audits, checks, and maintaining standards
Deliver and organise staff training
Run team meetings and staff appraisals
Provide day-to-day administrative support
Lead the team on the ground, stepping in wherever needed
What We're Looking For
Previous CQC / healthcare compliance experience
Comfortable taking charge and leading a team, not just supporting one
Strong organisational skills — rotas, scheduling, admin
Experience in a theatre/surgical setting; plastic surgery experience a plus
A proactive, hands-on attitude
Clear, confident communicator with a calm, professional manner
Great For Someone Who
Wants to build real leadership experience in a premium healthcare setting, is looking to grow their career, and enjoys variety — no two days the same. Happy to work on a self-employed basis, ideally.
What We Offer
Full-time, Monday to Friday
Flexible hours
Hourly rate from £19, dependent on experience
Self-employed basis preferred
Start date: beginning of September 2026
Genuine scope to grow into a bigger role over time
