We’re looking for a Stores Supervisor to join our team at our Burton site – you will take the lead in ensuring the accurate and timely dispatch of goods to our customers. In this role, you’ll be central to smooth day-to-day operations—managing accurate invoicing, coordinating shipping, and booking transport efficiently. What you’ll do
- Coordinate daily dispatch operations to ensure OTIF (On Time In Full) targets are achieved.
- Prepare and process all invoicing documentation for UK and international shipments, including Factura invoices.
- Ensure despatch and invoice documentation is raised promptly upon receipt of packing and collation sheets.
- Book transportation with approved carriers and accurately record all associated costs in SharePoint.
- Monitor uncollected shipments and proactively chase carriers to maintain delivery performance.
- Obtain signed Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation and upload to SharePoint using correct referencing.
- Communicate any shipment delays or issues promptly to the Customer Services team.
- Comply with all QHSE requirements and company policies and procedures at all times.
- Support wider business needs by undertaking additional tasks within capability and training.
What we are looking for
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Highly numerate with strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Forklift Truck Licence.
- Experience using D365
