Bristol Maritime is a technical water safety and access company and also a maritime training centre, with two brands delivering specialist on water training and water safety and pontoon access solutions.
BM Safety is an on water access solutions company which provides pontoon, safety boats and other on water access solutions to a variety of clients in Bristol and nationally. Specialising in solving problems on the water, BM Safety works with Industrial Infrastructure projects such as bridge inspections and maintenance. It also delivers specialist one off solutions to for scientific, television and ecology projects.
BM Training is an RYA, RLSS and Nuco training and safety company based in Bristol, that operates at its local training bases as well as nationally. We are flexible team who enjoy making people safe on water through the best training, equipment and locations available.
Although we operate nationally we have main bases operating from Bristol and Yorkshire.

We are looking for an adaptable person, who likes being outdoors and is looking or a career on the water. We will provide the training, qualifications (including internationally recognised instructor qualifications) and support for that person. We want someone to develop into the exciting world of technical water safety and access solutions, whilst driving safety boats and constructing on water pontoons.
The right person will enjoy being challenged and be prepared to travel when required. They will enjoy being on the water, working outside in all conditions and be willing to gain further qualifications in powerboating, water safety and teaching.
Any work experience indoors or outdoors by or on water would be beneficial. Someone who already holds a sports teaching award would be preferable.
Responsibilities will include:
- Driving Safety and work boats (training available)
- Building pontoon and water access solutions
- Assisting with or delivering instructing where qualified (training available)

Pay: £21,158.00-£24,785.00 per year
