The Role
You will be responsible for actively seeking out large scale projects with new customers and within our existing customer base. This could include national refurbishment projects for retail, public sector, and distribution companies for example. Your sole focus will be working with existing and potential customers to ensure our products will be used and we are supporting with their lighting design requirements. We have Area Sales Representatives that look after stock orders and smaller projects so you will work closely with the Representatives in your area.

Due to this growth and investment we are looking for a Project Sales Manager to help us in this exciting journey.
Key Responsibilities And Tasks
· Manage and maintain strong relationships in existing customers, contractors and specifiers to seek out and monitor large scale project opportunities.
· Regularly visit new and existing customers with future project potential.
· Follow up leads through use of the CRM system, Barbour ABI, the internal sales team, wholesale team and ongoing industry contact with specifiers.
· Manage and report on your project pipeline.
· Strive to achieve and exceed monthly targets for invoiced project sales and gross profit in your area
· Take ownership of and resolve any area customer complaints or issues
· Recommend LED lighting for domestic, hospitality, leisure, external spaces and student accommodation.
· Proactively use the company’s CRM system, ensuring the CRM and day to day Sales admin is kept up to date at all times
About You
· Previous experience in a sales, product or commercial role is essential.
· Experience working within the lighting industry is desirable.
· Lighting design experience is desirable (Relux/Dialux)
· Demonstrable ability and desire to drive large scale project sales.
· Proven ability to gain in-depth knowledge of target customers, specifiers, contractors and competitors.
· Technical skill is essential, especially in the commercial and industrial sectors.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· Strong commercial awareness
