Trade Recruit is proud to be recruiting on behalf of one of our prestigious clients based in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Due to continued growth and an increasing workload, our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer / Qualified Electrician to join their team on a full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician who is confident working independently, managing their own jobs, and supervising an apprentice on-site. The role offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to develop additional specialist skills through further training.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installation, maintenance and repair work across a range of projects
- Manage and complete jobs independently to a high standard
- Supervise and mentor an apprentice on-site
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with current electrical regulations and health & safety standards
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently
- Maintain excellent customer service and professional standards
- Complete relevant job documentation and reports accurately
Essential Requirements
- Fully qualified Electrician
- Relevant electrical qualifications and certifications
- Proven experience managing and completing electrical projects independently
- Ability to oversee and support an apprentice
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Desirable Skills & Experience
- F-Gas qualification (not essential as training can be provided)
- Solar PV installation experience
- Experience working across domestic and/or commercial projects
- Additional industry certifications
