FI Facilities Management are currently excited to be recruiting for an Evening Cleaner to support their friendly team with evening cover.
The right candidate will provide a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout Lynch Wood Park. The responsibilities will include cleaning of all landlord common areas and tenanted areas to ensure they are maintained to high standard of cleanliness and free from any potential slips, trips and falls risk.
Hours of work: 17:00pm to 10:00pm, Monday to Friday. No flexibility to change allocated hours.
Daily Tasks
- Vacuum all carpeted floor surfaces throughout offices, corridors, kitchens, and communal areas.
- Dust and sanitize desks, tables, reception desks, visitor seating, touch points, and furniture using anti-viral spray.
- Remove finger marks and smudges from internal glass partitions and doors where required.
- Spot clean wall surfaces and remove marks where required.
- Empty and replace all general waste bins and transfer waste to disposal points.
- Wipe bins using anti-viral spray.
- Remove crockery, cutlery, and glassware from offices and return to kitchen areas.
- Disinfect and clean all kitchen worktops, splash backs, sinks, and touch points.
- Top up consumables where required.
- Load and empty dishwashers and return clean items to cupboards.
- Clean exterior kitchen cupboards and remove marks from switches and finger plates.
- Ensure all communal and office areas remain clean, safe, and presentable at all times.
Weekly Tasks
- Dust and clean all window ledges, skirting boards, fixtures, and fittings using anti-viral spray.
- Vacuum hard-to-reach carpeted areas using appropriate equipment.
- Deep clean occupied offices on a rota basis as instructed by Centre Management.
- Clean interior of fridges and dispose of out-of-date food and drink items.
- Dust and wipe sills, ledges, skirting boards, and fire extinguishers.
- Remove cobwebs from ceilings and corners where required.
Meeting Rooms
- Clean meeting rooms daily unless advised otherwise by Centre Management.
- Vacuum carpets and sanitize tables, chairs, and touch points.
- Empty bins and ensure rooms are left clean, tidy, and presentable for use.
Cleaning Standards
- All cleaning must be completed to a professional and hygienic standard.
- Wet floor signs must always be displayed during floor cleaning.
- Any hazards, spillages, or maintenance concerns must be reported immediately.
- All areas must be left clean, safe, and presentable at all times.
- Other areas require as part of the evening role.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good physical stamina to perform manual cleaning tasks throughout the shift
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
- Knowledge of health and safety standards related to cleaning procedures
