Early Years Service Assistant (Business Support / Administration) | 11015 | Secondment Opportunity / Temporary Fixed Term Contract until September 2027 | 37 hours per week | £25,989 to £26,403 per annum | Grade D | County Hall, Norwich
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised individual as part of the Early Years Service Assistant team in the Early Years Learning and Childcare Team, to cover maternity leave starting in September 2026.
You will be responsible for the administration of the early years training programme, day-to day support of several key managers, including diary maintenance, admin tasks including data input, whilst working closely with the other members of the existing Early Years Service Assistants.
Please note this is a business support role and the role and is not working with children in early years nurseries.
We are looking for an individual with very particular skills. Our ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and motivated. They will be a confident self-starter as well as a team player. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be personable and able to demonstrate confidentiality and practiced IT skills. We need someone who has had previous office experience who can “hit-the-ground-running.”
