Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Greet customers warmly, taking their orders accurately and efficiently while providing friendly service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including food preparation areas and equipment
- Ensure food safety standards are consistently followed to uphold health regulations and quality assurance
- Manage cash register operations, handle transactions accurately, and provide correct change
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals as needed
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and ingredients, notifying management when restocking is required
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Barista or in food service is necessary; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure hygiene and compliance with health standards
- Ability to serve customers efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a busy environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Experience with food preparation techniques is a plus but not mandatory
- Excellent communication skills to engage with customers and team members effectively
