To prepare and cook food to provide nourishment of a high quality to all residents, day care clients.
To maintain high standards of hygiene in the kitchen and food storage areas, in accordance with Environmental Health Office Regulations.
To work with management on stock control, menu planning and ordering.
To communicate with residents on their individual needs, and to assist the management with the Policy of encouraging residents’ rights on choice.
To respect the residents' privacy, dignity, and self-respect.
To maintain a happy and homely environment.
To maintain a safe and healthy environment, and to report any hazard to management immediately.
To follow Policies and directions laid down by the management.
To comply fully with current Health and Safety Legislation
To use and maintain all equipment in a safe and respectful manner.
To comply with instructions from senior members of staff.
To show politeness and courtesy to all residents, visitors, and colleagues.
To carry out any other duties that occur as may be required by management or senior staff.
