Job Summary
We are a very well-established toy distributor based in Ripley. We own our own premises and provide site maintenance services to other on-site tenants.
We are looking for a motivated Labourer to work with our Site Manager on and around the site on a temporary basis of initially 6 weeks.
Duties to include helping move and collect materials, set up tools and help with general building work and demolition. The ideal candidate should be trustworthy, punctual, ready to help and learn. Previous experience of building work would be an advantage but training will be given for the right candidate. We are looking for a candidate who can work as a team but show some initiative and be able to carry out tasks on their own.
Duties
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials or equipment as directed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including warehouses, yards, or production sites
- Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure working environment for all staff
- Operate basic tools and equipment safely under supervision
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Basic understanding of workplace safety procedures and protocols
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks throughout the shift
- Prior experience in general labour or construction is a plus but not required
Pay: £12.71 per hour
