We're looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Breakfast Host & Housekeeper at The White Lion Hotel in the heart of Hebden Bridge.

About the Role
Your mornings will begin by welcoming hotel guests into our restaurant, serving breakfast and ensuring everyone enjoys a fantastic start to their day. Once breakfast service has finished, you'll then begin preparing, remaking and turning-over bedrooms and maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel.

Responsibilities
- Welcoming guests with a warm and friendly attitude
- Taking breakfast orders and serving food and drinks
- Setting up and clearing the breakfast restaurant
- Maintaining excellent cleanliness and food hygiene standards
- Cleaning and preparing guest bedrooms to a high standard
- Cleaning bathrooms, changing linen and replenishing amenities
- Ensuring public areas remain clean and welcoming
- Reporting maintenance issues or guest requests
- Working as part of a supportive team to deliver excellent hospitality
What We're Looking For

- Previous hospitality or housekeeping experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
Hours
This is a varied part-time position with a scale of hours available. Two shifts minimum (around 12-14 hours per week) up to four or five shift options available (24-30 hours per week) should the candidate prefer more days per week.
Weekend availability is essential.
Successful applicants must be available to work at least two morning shifts every weekend between Friday and Sunday, with opportunities to pick up additional weekday shifts if desired.
Typical shifts are mornings and finish early afternoon. Shifts begin at either 07:30 for our shift leaders or 08:00 for other team members. Shifts finish usually between 14:00-15:00 depending on hotel demand and volume of occupancy.
