Summary
We are seeking a Part Time Motorsport Mechanic to join our team. Based at our facilities, this role is vital in ensuring the optimal performance and maintenance of rally cars. Join us to contribute your skills to a company that thrives on passion and precision in motorsport.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on rally cars to ensure peak performance.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components using hand tools and power tools.
- Interpret schematics and technical diagrams for vehicle modifications.
- Conduct welding and equipment repairs as needed.
- Assist with rally car builds and preparations for events.
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.
- Support the team during on-event activities ensuring vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
- Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in motorsport or automotive sectors.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service skills are a plus for client interactions.
- Previous experience working on rally or race cars is desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
