About us:
The immigration compliance team at King’s undertakes a vital role to ensure compliance with the immigration rules and the university’s sponsorship obligations for our international staff. To ensure we attract and retain an outstanding international workforce we are recruiting new staff members to support the demand.
The Compliance Associate will take full oversight of the duties associated with Home Office/UKVI compliance and will provide advice and guidance to staff and client departments on immigration issues.
About you:
You will offer a support service that ensures compliance in the recruitment and visa sponsorship processes in line with Home Office requirements. You will handle large volumes of enquiries from candidates, staff and managers related to visa and immigration matters. Beyond this, you will need to: track and monitor the leave to remain and immigration status of all migrant workers across the university; deal with queries on immigration issues in a timely manner from a variety of sources on a range of immigration issues; modify, maintain and update the relevant record fields on HR systems regarding employee’s immigration status and leave to remain details; and liaise with other HR teams in relation to immigration and sponsorship issues.
