Key Precision is a subcontract CNC machining company in Cannock. We're looking for someone careful and methodical to join our inspection and finishing team.
We can build the hours around you. We work a 7am–4pm day, Monday to Thursday and Friday 7am - 1pm on a Friday. If you need to work around school runs, caring commitments or another job, tell us what works and we'll do our best.
No shifts, no nights, no weekends.
What you'll be doing
- Inspecting machined components against engineering drawings
- Deburring and finishing parts to a high standard
- Second operation work — light manual machining and finishing tasks
- Light assembly of finished components
- Completing inspection records and flagging anything out of tolerance
What we're looking for
- Experience in an engineering or precision manufacturing environment is ideal
- Confident using measuring equipment such as verniers and micrometers
- Able to read engineering drawings
- A good eye for detail and pride in getting things right
- Reliable, and comfortable working on your own initiative
