Stewarts is a long-established contractor based in Carmunnock, Glasgow. We provide groundworks services to national house builders throughout the central belt.
The Role
We require skilled groundworkers for a residential site in Barrhead. Candidates must be experienced in all aspects of plotworks for new build housing and capable of carrying out work to the highest standards. Immediate start available.
Working Hours & Remuneration
Basic working hours are 39hrs - Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm & Friday 8am to 3.30pm.. All hours worked over and above the basic hours would be paid at time and a half. You will also be paid 1 hour daily travelling allowance. Competitive rate of pay (dependent on experience). Transport to/from site will be provided for squads.
Experience & Qualifications
You will have at least 5 years prior experience in a similar position. Must be able to work on your own initiative, produce high quality work whilst meeting daily output targets. A valid CSCS card is essential and dumper/roller tickets would be preferred.
