OH Medical is recruiting for an experienced Occupational Health & Wellbeing Manager to lead and develop an established Occupational Health and Wellbeing service based in Fife.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity working 36.25 hours per week, with a salary of £47,389 to £58,226 per annum. Flexible and hybrid working is supported, although regular on-site presence will be required due to the nature of the position.
This senior Occupational Health role offers an excellent opportunity for a Specialist Occupational Health Nurse to combine clinical expertise with strategic leadership, team management and service development. You will play a key role in shaping Occupational Health and employee wellbeing services while providing expert advice to employees, managers and senior stakeholders.
Duties
- Lead the strategic direction and ongoing development of the Occupational Health and Wellbeing service.
- Manage and support the Occupational Health and Wellbeing team, including clinical supervision, performance and service quality.
- Provide expert Occupational Health advice on complex and sensitive employee health cases.
- Manage Occupational Health casework, referrals, health surveillance and specialist liaison.
- Produce clear, high-quality Occupational Health reports with practical recommendations.
- Develop Occupational Health policies, procedures, service standards and training initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with HR, Health & Safety and other stakeholders to promote an integrated approach to employee health and wellbeing.
- Monitor service data, audits and trends to support quality improvement and early intervention.
Criteria
- Relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- Current NMC registration on Part 3 of the register.
- Significant Occupational Health case management experience.
- Experience delivering a professional Occupational Health advisory service.
- Previous experience managing a team and supporting effective service delivery.
- Strong knowledge of relevant health and safety, employment legislation, health surveillance and professional requirements.
- Confident managing complex and sensitive employee health matters using independent professional judgement.
- Excellent communication, report writing, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience of Occupational Health service development, wellbeing initiatives, policy development or using OH data to improve services would be beneficial.
Salary & Benefits
- £47,389 to £58,226 per annum.
