Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated HIAB / Class 2 driver to join our dynamic team. This role involves operating a HIAB crane and driving a Class 2 commercial vehicle to deliver and collect equipment safely and efficiently and where required to work (when trained on the effluent waste tanker). Responsibilities
- Safely operate a HIAB crane to load and unload goods with precision and care, delivering to sites.
- Drive a Class 2 commercial vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Deliver equipment and supplies to various sites in a timely manner
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle and crane to ensure operational safety
- Assist with securing loads on flatbed trucks for safe transportation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, delivery documentation, and vehicle records
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate deliveries and pickups
- Servicing of customer toilets and welfare units
- Hands on role, fast paced role
- Driving duties will include:
· Servicing of customer toilets and welfare units
· Replenishment of water tanks on site
· Emptying of effluent tanks on site
· Completion of PDA / paperwork to meet company and legal requirements.
· Dealing with sites and customers both face-to-face and over the telephone.
. Conforming to company servicing and reporting procedures.
· Conforming with company transport procedures, completing a daily vehicle walk round check and reporting any defects to your supervisor.
. Driving in a professional manner whilst representing the company. Driving to the rules of the road.
. Participate in the company's random drug and alcohol testing when asked to do so.
Prior experience advantageous however not essential, as full on the job training covering, use of Vac tank / standpipes / PDA system will be given. This is not a clean job and can be physically demanding.

Minimum 40 hrs per week – covering day-shift across varying start times, depending on the run requirement each day. (Typically between 5-7am).
Due to the location of sites, some local geographical knowledge would be advantageous, although not essential.
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving license with clean driving record
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with flatbed or crane operations
- Certification or experience operating a HIAB crane.
- Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
- Ability to handle physical tasks related to loading/unloading equipment
- Excellent communication skills and reliability in meeting deadlines
