Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to join our Team at our Sunderland plant. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role is a key position within the finance function, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data across the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain sales price changes within the ERP system throughout the production lifecycle of seating components.
- Control and track material cost changes for directed, intercompany and purchased parts.
- Lead customer and supplier retrospective processes, working closely with Sales, Purchasing and central finance teams to ensure accuracy, transparency, and timely resolution.
- Maintain accurate, costed Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support planning, forecasting, annual cost roll-ups, and cost analysis.
- Support product change requests and cost reduction initiatives by preparing detailed cost data (including piece price, tooling, capital, engineering, launch and SDT costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate and timely customer quotations.
- Analyse and reconcile customer self-bill invoices against SAP invoices.
- Generate customer invoices as required.
- Support budgeting and forecasting, including sales price recovery, material cost analysis, and customer pricing strategies.
- Ensure appropriate accruals are raised to mitigate risk and avoid unexpected P&L impacts
- Identify and contribute to margin improvement opportunities.
- Complete month-end activities including journal postings, accrual, and prepayments.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage fixed asset reporting, including additions, disposals and depreciation.
- Support wider finance activities and ad-hoc tasks as required.

Pay: £32,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
