Due to expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and proactive Mobile Field Engineer to join our team and deliver exceptional technical support directly at client sites. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of equipment . Duties
- Conduct regular maintenance, repairs and services on forklifts and materials handling equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities and customer interactions via protean management system.
- Communicate effectively with customers and the service office to ensure we continuously deliver the best service to our customers.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a valid driving license.
- Support engineers within a team to improve skill and assist in diagnostics and repairs.
Experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous experience with forklifts or other material handling equipment
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills (mechanical/electrical)
- Background in HGV, plant, construction, agricultural, automotive, REME, or similar industries
- Self-motivated, able to work independently, and confident dealing with breakdowns
- Solid electrical/mechanical engineering knowledge
