Grounds Maintenance Operative – Reading & Surrounding Areas (Berkshire/Surrey)

About the job:
Titan Facilities Services is building a network of reliable grounds maintenance workers across Berkshire, Surrey, and the wider M25 corridor to support our growing portfolio of commercial and residential contracts. We're not recruiting for one single role — we take on a variety of jobs and want to hear from experienced grounds maintenance workers who may be a good fit for current or upcoming work in your area, including Reading, Bracknell, Wokingham, Guildford, Woking, and Camberley.
Types of work you could be matched to:
- Commercial grounds maintenance (offices, churches, university sites, council contracts)
- Litter picking and site tidy-ups
- Grass cutting, strimming, and hedge trimming
- General outdoor maintenance for residential and commercial clients
What we're looking for:
- Experienced, reliable workers covering Berkshire, Surrey, or the wider M25 area
- Own transport preferred but not essential depending on location
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Flexibility to take on ad hoc or regular jobs as they arise
Nice to have (not essential):
- DBS check
- Own tools/equipment (strimmer, mower, litter picker, etc.)
- Experience with commercial or council grounds contracts
Pay note: Rates vary depending on the type of work and whether you're taken on as an employed team member or a self-employed contractor. Standard employed roles start at £13.00/hour; self-employed and specialist jobs may be paid at a higher rate reflecting the nature of the work.
