We are currently looking for a Service Technician / MOT tester to join our team here at Dryclough Lane Garage, Halifax. We operate a successful and busy garage. We offer a premium service to our customers with all work / repairs carried out to a high standard, but above all else we operate with honesty, integrity and efficiency.
The role will include the service, repair and maintenance on a wide range of makes and models of cars and vans. As technology in the automotive industry changes, applicants must be competent using diagnostic computers to aid with servicing and repairs of vehicles.
As we are a well-established garage in Halifax, basic diagnostic and investigation skills are essential with further training possible for in depth diagnostics as well as Hybrid and Electric vehicle training.
MOT tester status is preferred but not essential as further training can be provided for the successful applicant. The role may require the diagnostic and repair of air conditioning systems. F-gas certification is again preferred but not essential to the role.
Relevant certification must be provided for the role you are applying for (city & guilds, NVQ level 2/3, etc. Applicants must hold a clean full UK driving, no criminal record (a dbs check may be requested) and be eligible to work in the UK.
This role is Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5pm
Overtime offered where available.
Salary negotiable dependant on experience.
