A specialist SEND school in Gosport is seeking a Classroom Support Assistant to support pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism, learning difficulties and SEMH .
You will play a key role supporting pupils during lessons and helping them access learning activities.
The role will involve:
- Supporting pupils during classroom activities
- Providing 1:1 and small group support
- Assisting with behaviour and emotional regulation
- Supporting structured routines and learning tasks
- Working closely with teachers and SEN staff
Requirements:
- Experience working with SEND pupils
- DBS on the Update Service
- Up to date safeguarding training
