The Orchard Day Nursery Kingston (formerly Park Hill Nursery) is a high-performing independent setting in Kingston (KT2). We are seeking an inspiring, passionate Baby Room Leader to manage our under-2s room and guide a dedicated team.

- Salary: Up to £34,165 per year (DOE, Full-Time Equivalent)
- Hours: Full-time, permanent, year-round (Nursery open 7:30am–6pm, Mon–Fri)
- Schedule: 5 days (4-day shift patterns can be discussed)
- Location: Kingston upon Thames, Surrey (KT2)

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Team: Manage the daily routines and assign tasks within the baby room team.
- Oversee EYFS: Supervise high-quality observations, planning, and assessments for infants.
- Maintain Quality: Ensure a safe, highly organized, and sensory-rich environment.
- Partner with Families: Act as the primary contact for parents, building trust and reassurance.
What You Need to Apply
- Must hold a full & relevant Level 3+ Early Years qualification (DfE-approved)
- Proven experience leading a room or mentoring staff (baby room experience preferred)
- Expert knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework and safeguarding regulations
- Strong communication skills with a warm, professional, and positive approach
