We are excited to relaunch our Graduate Apprenticeship Engineering Programme and we are looking for an ambitious Graduate Civil Engineering Apprentice to join the Eastern team this September. This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career in civil engineering while earning, learning, and graduating debt-free.
About the Role
As a Graduate Civil Engineering Apprentice, you’ll gain practical experience while working towards a recognised qualification. You’ll be supported by experienced professionals and play an active role in live construction projects.
You Will:
- Support project teams on live construction sites and projects
- Help deliver work safely and to the right standard
- Coordinate technical information and support with design queries
- Apply strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail to meet deadlines

What We’re Looking For
- A genuine interest in construction, engineering, or the built environment
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English (Grade 4/C or above)
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
- A full UK driving licence, due to travel between office and site locations.
Location
Site-based with occasional visits to the offices in Middlesbrough and Wakefield.
