Job Summary
Chester Chain Company Ltd are seeking mechanically skilled lifting equipment engineer to perform inspections, service, repairs and maintenance to all types of electrical, mechanical handling equipment in the Chester and North Wales locality. Experience of working in the lifting equipment profession and a background in electrical, mechanical, handling equipment would be beneficial but ongoing skills development and LEEA Certified training are provided.
Experience / Duties
- Ability to investigate and repair a variety of overhead crane and hoist components in varying customer locations.
- Experience of working in the lifting equipment profession.
- Excellent fault finding and diagnostic skills.
- Experience with overhead crane maintenance and inspection routines.
- Ability to work at heights responsibly.
- Positive attitude towards health and safety.
- Self motivated with the ability to adapt to overcome technical challenges.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as per business requirements.
- Salary dependant on experience, skills and qualification.
- Basic working week comprises 39 hours with regular premium rate overtime available.
- Holiday entitlement 25 days paid annual leave.
Pay: £33,500.00-£38,500.00 per year
