Job Summary
Join our team as a Part-Time Evening Cleaner work across two sites. Hadleigh Medical Centre & Bildeston Health Care Centre and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our facilities. As an Evening Cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring all areas are spotless, hygienic, and well-organized, contributing to the overall positive experience for staff and visitors alike.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness by dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces regularly
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure facilities are fully equipped
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or hazards
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly for swift resolution
- Adhere to cleaning schedules and complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuums, buffers, or floor scrubbers safely and effectively
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during evening shifts
- Strong communication skills to follow instructions clearly and report issues accurately
- Dependability with a positive attitude and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning procedures
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple responsibilities efficiently
