Hours: 45 hours per week plus overtime
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Furniture Technician to join BoConcept in Barking.
BoConcept is a global furniture brand operating in 40 different countries. We operate eleven high-end furniture outlets across London and the Home Counties and have a successful Contracts Department specialising in Business Customers. We pride ourselves on exceptional customer experience and invest in our Logistic and Distribution teams in order to ensure the highest standards within the retail support operation.
Furniture Technician activities
· Loading furniture onto and from the vehicle ensuring all correct to paperwork
· Driving the deliveries to the site / customer homes etc.
· Installing, assembling and demonstrating the furniture to customers
· Organising access to the site i.e. lift/ stairs etc.
· Ensuring customer satisfaction is to the highest standard
· Interacting with customers daily and communicating brand values professionally.
· You may be required to work flexible hours, depending on customer demand.
The Furniture Technician will have the following Skills, Experience and Attributes:
· Experience assembling furniture and fitting it / Good level of carpentry/DIY skills
· Devoted to exceeding customer expectations in areas of customer service, fitting and assembly
· Flexible as the role may require out of hours work
· Possess a passion for delivering customer satisfaction, positive attitude and willing to go the extra mile in order to give our customers a memorable experience
· Excellent verbal communication
· Experience in Manual Handling
· A Full UK driving license – as driving will be an essential part of this role.

It is vital that candidates that apply are aware and committed to the required days which may include weekends but not mandatory.
