Position: Audit & Compliance Officer
Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 per annum DOE
Hours: 40 /week 08:30-17:00 MON-FRI
Location: *Richmond Botley, SO30 2EU (*flexibility to work at another site from 2027)

We're looking for a detail-focused Audit & Compliance Officer to join our team in Botley and help ensure our dealerships continue to operate in line with FCA regulations, internal policies and industry best practice.
This is a rare opportunity to join the business alongside our current postholder ahead of their retirement, allowing for a full handover into this well-established role.
Working closely with senior management, you'll carry out compliance audits, review vehicle sales documentation, monitor FCA requirements and provide clear reporting to help maintain the highest standards across the Group.
As our Audit & Compliance Officer, you'll be:
- Reviewing sales processes to ensure compliance with FCA regulations and company policies.
- Carrying out regular audits of vehicle sales and finance documentation across the Group.
- Working closely with dealership management to promote compliance and best practice.
- Assisting with GDPR compliance, data protection responsibilities and policy updates.
- Producing audit reports, identifying trends and highlighting areas for improvement.
- Monitoring advertising and financial promotions to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Maintaining accurate records, reports and compliance documentation.
- Supporting FCA reporting, annual returns and regulatory submissions.
Ideally, you are:
- Experienced in working within a similar Audit, Compliance, Business Manager, Transaction Manager, Sales Manager, Finance, Accounting or relevant Motor Trade role.
- Highly knowledgeable of FCA regulations and vehicle finance processes (highly desirable).
- Familiar in working within a franchised motor dealership organisation (highly desirable).
- Able to analyse information and identify trends with excellent attention to detail.
- Professional and able to work with a high level of integrity and discretion.
- Able to manage multiple deadlines with excellent organisational skills.
- Confident to communicate professionally with colleagues at all levels.
- A strong user Excel and Microsoft Office.
