We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Carbon and Sustainable Supply Chain Manager to help support our sustainability and decarbonisation objectives.
In this role, you will report to the Head of Sustainability and play a key role in monitoring, analysing, and maintaining accurate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions data, as well as reporting progress against our science-based targets. You'll have strong data skills and be confident working with datasets to ensure high-quality carbon footprint reporting and meaningful insight.
This role is primarily focused on carbon and climate reporting and delivery, particularly in relation to greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions measurement, analysis and reporting. The role will also play an increasingly important part in supporting sustainable supply chain engagement.
Planning and implementing ways to reduce GHG emissions will be a key part of the role, alongside supporting engagement with suppliers and internal teams to improve sustainability performance, strengthen Scope 3 data quality, and enable more effective reporting and decision-making over time
You will help ensure Platform is at the forefront of delivering its Net Zero and Sustainable Supply Chain agenda, supporting continuous improvement and driving practical, measurable change.

- Monitor and report on the organisation's carbon emissions (Scopes 1, 2 and 3), ensuring accuracy and transparency
- Maintain the organisation's GHG inventory and supporting datasets
- Analyse data and provide clear, actionable insights to support decision-making
- Identify opportunities to reduce emissions and support the delivery of Net Zero targets
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and suppliers to improve sustainability performance and data quality, particularly in relation to material Scope 3 categories
- Support compliance with carbon reporting standards, legislation, and audit or assurance requirements (e.g. Platform's GHG inventory, SECR, ESG / annual reporting)
- Track progress against sustainability goals and provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrable experience in measuring, calculating, and reporting organisational carbon footprints (Scopes 1, 2 and 3) using recognised standards such as the GHG Protocol
- Experience creating or contributing to carbon reduction pathways, science‑based targets, and long‑term decarbonisation plans
- Strong experience in analysing data, producing dashboards, and preparing high quality reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of carbon accounting frameworks (GHG Protocol, ISO 14064 and scope 3 methodologies
- Demonstrable experience working with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to gather sustainability data and drive best practice
- The role will involve working with a range of data sources and tools, including Excel, Microsoft 365 / Power BI, and E‑Manage (Achilles assurance systems), with scope to help improve processes and approaches over time.
- In the first year, the focus will be on developing a strong understanding of the organisation, its datasets and supply chain, while helping to strengthen the quality, consistency and use of carbon and sustainability reporting.
This is a home-based role; however, occasional travel to offices and sites across our housing portfolio will be required.
