Front of House / Barista — Sticky Fingers, Stockport
From £13.00 per hour, rising to £13.70 per hour for Skilled Barista / FOH team members
Love great coffee, beautiful food and making people feel welcome? Sticky Fingers is looking for a friendly, reliable and energetic Front of House / Barista to join our growing team.
You’ll be at the heart of the customer experience: serving brilliant coffee, helping customers choose from our bakery counter, keeping service flowing during busy periods, and making every visit feel warm and effortless.
What you’ll be doing
- Creating a genuinely welcoming experience for every customer
- Making consistently excellent espresso-based coffee, teas and cold drinks
- Serving bread, pastries, cakes and food with care and attention to presentation
- Taking orders, handling card payments and keeping the counter running smoothly
- Keeping the café, bar and customer areas clean, well stocked and inviting
- Supporting opening, closing and handover routines
- Working closely with a friendly team during busy weekends and peak trading
What we’re looking for
You don’t need to know everything on day one — we provide paid training — but you should bring:
- A warm, confident and proactive approach to customer service
- A love of hospitality, coffee and good food
- The ability to stay calm, organised and positive when it gets busy
- Reliability, good timekeeping and pride in doing things properly
- Barista experience is a bonus, but enthusiasm and willingness to learn matter just as much

- Starting pay of £13.00 per hour
- Progression to £13.70 per hour once you demonstrate skilled barista and FOH competence
- Paid induction and role-specific training
- Flexible additional shifts available by mutual agreement

This is a permanent Front of House role, with shifts arranged by rota. You may work across our Stockport locations, including Great Underbank, Market Hall and occasional events.
