Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their early development and learning. Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering engaging activities that promote children's developmental milestones
- Supervising children to ensure their safety and well-being at all times
- Supporting children's social, emotional, and educational growth through personalised care
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming nursery environment
- Collaborating with colleagues to implement curriculum plans and daily routines
- Communicating effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and needs
- Assisting in the organisation of nursery events and activities
- Upholding nursery policies and safeguarding procedures in accordance with regulatory standards
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting is essential
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices
- Proven management or leadership experience within a childcare environment is advantageous
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Experience with childcare management systems or record keeping is beneficial
