Lead a Brand-New Children's Residential Home
Are you an experienced Registered Manager looking for the opportunity to establish and lead a brand-new Children's Residential Home?
We are recruiting a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to launch and lead a new 2-bed Children's Residential Home in Greenwich, South East London, supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and/or Learning Disabilities (LD).

About the Role
As the Registered Manager, you will take responsibility for opening and managing the home, ensuring it operates in line with Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes Regulations.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will recruit and develop your team, maintain outstanding safeguarding standards and create a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment where young people can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the opening and day-to-day management of the Children's Residential Home.
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes Regulations.
- Recruit, mentor and develop a high-performing staff team.
- Promote safeguarding and child-centred practice at all times.
- Build strong relationships with Local Authorities, families and external professionals.
- Oversee care planning, quality assurance and service development.
- Maintain high standards of care and regulatory compliance.
- Drive positive outcomes and continuous improvement.
Requirements
✔ Previous experience as a Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step into a Registered Manager role.
✔ Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (minimum).
✔ Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification (or working towards).
✔ Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes legislation.
✔ Experience supporting young people with EBD and/or Learning Disabilities (LD).
✔ Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
✔ Full UK Driving Licence is desirable.

Pay: £55,506.94-£65,962.84 per year
