Higher Level Teaching Assistant – September Start
Fusion Staffing is currently recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Putney from September.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting pupils and helping them achieve their full potential. You will play an important role within the classroom, working closely with teachers and supporting pupils across a range of learning activities.
The Role
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support teaching and learning across the classroom
- Lead small-group and targeted intervention sessions
- Provide additional support to pupils who require extra guidance
- Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
- Build positive and supportive relationships with pupils
- Work closely with teachers and other members of staff to promote excellent learning outcomes
About You
The ideal Higher Level Teaching Assistant will have:
- Previous experience working in a primary school setting
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A confident, proactive and nurturing approach
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- A genuine passion for supporting children's education and development
