Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional 3.5t Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires a clean driving licence, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with heavy lifting. Duties
- Safely operate a 3.5-tonne vehicle to deliver goods to clients and customers across designated routes
- Load and unload items, including heavy or bulky products, with proper handling techniques
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time, maintaining high levels of customer service
- Conduct vehicle checks before and after shifts, reporting any maintenance issues promptly
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues
- Follow all health and safety regulations during loading, transit, and delivery processes
Skills
- Proven delivery driver experience with a manual driving licence
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
- Reliable, punctual, organised, and capable of managing time effectively during daily routes
- Good physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks and long periods of driving
