Could you help people live more independently?
Anchor House is looking for compassionate, motivated and reliable people to join our Outreach Team, supporting individuals across Perth & Kinross to live independently within their own homes and communities.
As an Outreach Support Worker, you'll work alongside people to help them build confidence, develop practical life skills, improve their wellbeing and achieve the goals that matter most to them.
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll provide one-to-one support, helping people overcome challenges, access services, become more involved in their communities and maintain their independence.
About the Role
As an Outreach Support Worker, you will:
- Provide person-centred support in people's own homes and within the community.
- Support individuals to achieve their personal goals and maximise their independence.
- Help people develop practical life skills such as budgeting, cooking, shopping and managing a tenancy.
- Support people to attend appointments, education, employment and social activities.
- Promote positive mental health and emotional wellbeing.
- Build positive, professional relationships based on trust and respect.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to support planning.
- Work independently while remaining part of a supportive and experienced team.

Experience within health or social care is welcomed but isn't essential. We provide a comprehensive induction, ongoing training and opportunities to gain recognised qualifications while you work.
Essential Requirements
- A full UK driving licence.
- Access to your own vehicle, as travel throughout Perth & Kinross is an essential part of the role.
- A willingness to work flexibly to meet the needs of the people we support.
