Amelia House is a homely, 19-bed residential care home supporting adults, the majority of whom live with dementia.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, caring Cook to join our friendly team. In this role, you will do far more than just prepare meals; you will also create delicious, nutritious sweet and savoury treats that our residents look forward to every day.
This position is initially offered temporarily, but for the right person, it has the potential to become permanent.
- Previous cooking experience (experience in a care setting is a plus, but not essential).
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude.
- Ideally, a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate.
- Don’t have the certificate? Don't worry! We will support you to achieve it through our mandatory training programme.
To ensure the safety of our residents, the successful applicant will need to provide two satisfactory references and undergo an enhanced DBS check. To welcome you aboard, Amelia House will cover the cost of your DBS check (subject to conditions).
