Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess the necessary skills to maintain and enhance various landscapes. This role involves physical labour and requires a good understanding of garden maintenance, groundskeeping, and the use of hand and power tools.
Duties
- Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and hoes to carry out gardening tasks effectively.
- Use power tools for various landscaping projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Assist in the installation of irrigation systems and other landscape features as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tools and equipment after use.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain tools effectively.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labour for extended periods.
- A keen eye for detail to ensure high standards of work are met.
- Good communication skills to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- A willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping techniques and equipment use.
- Must have a valid UK Full driving licence.
