We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting pharmacists by preparing and dispensing medications, assisting with patient care, and ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy. Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense prescribed medications accurately under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Assist patients with medication queries and provide guidance on proper medication usage
- Manage inventory, including stock replenishment and storage organisation
- Maintain precise records of prescriptions and medication dispensation in accordance with legal and organisational standards
- Support with medication administration procedures as required, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and medication management
- Uphold strict confidentiality and adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Pharmacy Technician is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy operations
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, capable of providing compassionate patient care
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Relevant certification or registration as a Pharmacy Technician (where applicable) is preferred
