We are looking for a waking night support worker to join our team at Burridge Farm/Kite house.
Crediton Care & Support Homes Limited (CCSH) specialise in providing an excellent service for people with Autism and Learning Disabilities.
Burridge Farm and Kite House are situated just outside of Sandford.
Our highly skilled staff and extensive facilities equip us to provide a full range of residential services appropriate to the needs of each individual, while working in close partnership with their families and health, education and social services professionals.
We provide individual care and treat everyone with passion and care.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team on waking nights.
Working hours are 9.45pm until 8am. As we are a residential home and we run 24 hours a day, seven days a week so weekend and bank holiday working are essential.
Promoting independence and diversity in their lives in accordance with the service users care plan
To assist service users with personal care, including getting up, going to bed, washing, bathing, dressing/undressing and toileting
To assist service users with their mobility and physical disabilities
To help with the use and care of aids and personal equipment
To report any changes, be they minor or significant in a service users health or circumstances
To provide assistance with other tasks of personal daily living that the person cannot manage and provide general support as a part of a care team
To assist and encourage the management of medication or administer where necessary and appropriate training has been undertaken and as documented in the service user care plan
To monitor health related conditions such as dietary and fluid intake
To ensure service users retain individuality and personal dignity by promoting high standards of care and encouraging independence where appropriate
To ensure that different cultural needs are catered for sensitively
To respect the confidential nature of the work
To contribute to an effective system of communication within the team and to attend all team meetings
To ensure that the Health and Safety and Equal Opportunities policies are implemented at all times
To attend all formal and informal training opportunities
To use CCSH PCS system, recording all information
To assist service users in trips, holidays, appointments and any outside activities
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.01-£14.75 per hour
Expected hours: 36.0 per week
