We're seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering electrical designs for large, complex construction projects, ensuring sustainable, compliant, and cost-effective solutions from concept through to construction. You'll work collaboratively with clients, architects, and colleagues to bridge engineering excellence with real-world needs.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Electrical Engineer, you'll be working within the Major Projects team, supporting them in delivering innovative electrical design solutions for high-value construction projects. Your day to day will include:
- Providing high quality electrical designs and specifications that meet client requirements and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Leading the electrical design team and coordinating with other disciplines to deliver integrated solutions
- Offering technical advice and support in project design meetings, establishing innovative concepts and sustainable design solutions
- Collaborating with clients, architects, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication throughout project lifecycles
- Identifying and resolving technical challenges during design and construction phases whilst maintaining quality assurance
What are we looking for?
This role of Electrical Engineer is great for you if:
- You hold a degree in Electrical Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering and are a member of CIBSE or IET
- You are a Chartered Engineer or actively working towards becoming chartered
- You have demonstrable experience in electrical building services engineering with a high level of knowledge in your discipline
- You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
- You're collaborative, trusted, and focused - enjoying working closely with others to reach innovative solutions whilst delivering on your promises
