We are seeking a Night Trunker for our HGV Class 1 fleet to join our team in Stockport.this role is vital in ensuring timely and efficient freight delivery during night hours, supporting our commitment to excellent service.
This role involves trunking to Haydock , tipping reload back to stockport
Responsibilities
- Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently during night shifts..
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by adhering to company standards.
- Qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license.
- Strong understanding of UK road regulations.
- Delivery driver experience is advantageous.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety.
- Ability to work independently during night hours.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable with a professional attitude.
