We are currently recruiting for Pick & Pack Operatives to join a busy client food production environment. This is a fast-paced role requiring candidates who are reliable, physically fit, and able to work efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and food hygiene. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a proactive approach to production operations.
Responsibilities
- Picking food products accurately according to customer orders and requirements.
- Packing and preparing products ready for dispatch.
- Checking products for quality, quantity, and presentation.
- Labelling and sealing products correctly.
- Ensuring all orders are completed accurately and on time.
- Working efficiently in a fast-paced production/warehouse environment.
- Following food hygiene, health & safety, and company procedures at all times.
- Maintaining a clean and organised working area.
- Working as part of a team to meet daily production and dispatch targets.
- Reporting any damaged products, quality issues, or discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Carrying out general warehouse and production duties when required.
Experience
- Previous experience in picking, packing, food production or manufacturing is desirable.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to work to targets and deadlines.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Good team-working skills.
- Able to follow instructions and food hygiene procedures.
- Physically able to stand and work for extended periods.
- Flexible and willing to support other areas of the operation when required.
Shift: Thursday - Sunday
Hours: 06:00- 16:00 or 07:00 -17:00 or 08:00- 18:00
