Overview
We are seeking a courteous and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis during night shifts & also one for day shifts. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and guest services to contribute to a welcoming environment for our guests. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing guest check-ins and check-outs, providing information, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for all visitors. Fluency in multiple languages and previous hotel experience are highly desirable to enhance guest interactions and service quality.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with the check-in and check-out process efficiently.
- Handle guest enquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and courtesy, maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately using the hotel management system.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience.
- Address guest concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain security protocols by monitoring access points and ensuring guest confidentiality.
- Perform administrative tasks such as processing payments, updating guest records, and preparing reports as required during night shifts.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure the hotel environment remains clean, safe, and welcoming.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly advantageous to assist diverse guests effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with strong phone etiquette are essential.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional guest services with a friendly demeanour.
- Organised, attentive to detail, and capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently during night shifts.
- A professional appearance and attitude that reflects the standards of our establishment.
- Flexibility to work part-time during night hours, including weekends if required. This role is ideal for individuals committed to delivering outstanding hospitality experiences while working flexible hours in a dynamic environment.
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
