Travel Advisor (Saturday Mornings)
Location: Voel Coaches
Hours: Saturdays, 8:00am – 12:00pm
Voel Coaches is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Travel Advisor to join our busy and friendly sales team on Saturday mornings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for travel and outstanding customer service to become part of a well-established and successful business.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify customers' travel requirements and recommend suitable holidays and travel packages.
- Handle customer enquiries and process bookings over the telephone and in person.
- Take customer payments and balance payments using card and cash payment methods.
- Accurately manage bookings using our reservation system.
- Complete end-of-day cashing up and banking procedures.
- Deliver exceptional customer service at every stage of the booking process.
Person Specification
Essential
- Previous experience working within the travel industry.
- Excellent communication and telephone skills.
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.
- Ability to work as part of a team while using your own initiative.
Desirable
- Experience working in a sales environment with knowledge of sales techniques.
- NVQ in Business Administration or Travel & Tourism (or equivalent).
- Experience promoting a business through social media platforms.
- Good knowledge of UK geography.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
