Dazed Muzic is a growing music brand dedicated to showcasing emerging talent, creating unforgettable event experiences, and pushing the boundaries of music culture. We’re looking for a creative Content Creator to join our team and help elevate our visual presence across platforms.
We’re looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Assistant to join the Dazed Muzic team, helping us create engaging, fast-paced content across our social channels.
The role will focus on capturing the energy of Dazed Muzic through regular social content, established series and new creative concepts.
Key Skills
- Phone video editing – confident creating quick, engaging short-form content for Instagram, TikTok and other platforms.
- Concept & scripting – developing ideas and simple scripts/hooks that fit the Dazed Muzic audience.
- Content filming – comfortable filming artists, events, interviews and behind-the-scenes content using a phone.
Key Deliverables
- 14 videos posted per week across each social media channel.
- Of these, 3 videos per week will focus on bespoke Dazed Muzic content series, including:
- Anything Before The Drop
- Songs of the Week
- Bespoke show & event promotion
- Supporting the development of new recurring content concepts and series.
- Maintaining a consistent Dazed Muzic tone, style and level of quality across all content.
We're looking for someone who understands music culture, social media trends and what makes people stop scrolling. An interest in electronic music, particularly Drum & Bass, Garage and Bass music, would be a big advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality photo and video content at Dazed Muzic events, studio sessions, and behind-the-scenes activities.
- Plan, shoot, and deliver content tailored for social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
- Edit short-form video content with a basic to intermediate level of proficiency.
- Collaborate with the team to develop creative concepts and storytelling ideas.
- Maintain a consistent visual brand style across all media.
- Stay up to date with music culture, social trends, and content formats.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience creating content in the music or events space.
- A basic understanding of video editing (Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut, or similar).
- Experience shooting content on DSLR, mirrorless cameras, or high-end smartphones.
- Strong creative eye and understanding of social media dynamics.
- Ability to work independently and manage time during live events.
- A passion for music, nightlife culture, and storytelling.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with graphic design or motion graphics.
- Comfort brainstorming and pitching content ideas.
- Knowledge of current music trends, artist culture, and community engagement.
